  • Avocado: 1 avocado, diced.

  • Red Onion: ¼ cup chopped red onion (*see note).
  • Limes: Juice and zest of 1 to 2 limes (about 2 tablespoons of juice).
  • Garlic: 1 minced garlic clove.
  • Jalapeño Pepper: 1 jalapeño pepper, thinly sliced (optional).
  • Sea Salt: Generous pinches of sea salt.

Note: You can adjust the amount of red onion to your preference. If you’re not a fan of strong onion flavor, you can start with a smaller amount and add more if desired.


  1. In a small bowl, combine the diced kiwi, chopped scallions, diced avocado, chopped cilantro, chopped red onion, lime juice, lime zest, minced garlic, and thinly sliced jalapeño (if using).
