When it’s peach season, there’s only one mission – savor as many peaches as possible while they’re at their peak. In Texas, where peach season comes early, this objective takes on a delicious urgency. To celebrate the bounty of summer, I recently returned from the farmers market with a haul of heirloom cherry tomatoes, sweet peaches, and a loaf of my favorite nine-grain bread.
