The Avolution was started because two avocado growers, Daryl and Sally Boardman, had seen enough of a marketing model that kept growers in the dark about what their fruit was worth.
Every grower partner in The Avolution's network receives a clear, itemised return statement: the price the market paid, the cost of freight, handling, and any other charges between their shed and the customer, and the net return back to them. Nothing pooled. Nothing estimated. Payments are made promptly. We visit farms. We understand the difference between a Far North Queensland operation and a Pemberton farm. We communicate market conditions clearly and honestly, including when the domestic market is soft and the export window is what protects the return. Growers in our network get a weekly newsletter covering domestic pricing, export conditions, exchange rates, and freight updates. Not to manage expectations, but to give the information needed to make their own decisions. We work with avocado growers. We also work with citrus growers across the Riverina, Central New South Wales, and Sunraysia, and with table grape growers for our export program.
